JEWELLERY CARE

When you think of concrete jewellery, the first things that may come to mind are its heaviness and durability. While this holds true for some of the larger pendant pieces, it’s not the case with the smaller items. Over time, I’ve pushed the limits to make them as light as possible.

I like to say you should treat your concrete jewellery like ceramic pieces. Be gentle when putting them on or taking them off, and consider storing them in one of my little concrete bowls when not in use—they make the perfect home for your pieces.

Over time, the colour of the concrete may patina due to contact with products, perspiration, and daily wear. Rest assured, all pieces are sealed with a food-safe sealant, making them safe for skin contact.

Some of the drop earrings and pendants incorporate a mix of materials, such as seeds. I recommend removing these pieces (and in fact all of my jewellery) before showering or swimming to preserve their longevity.

The hoops on the drop earrings are made from stainless steel, recycled sterling silver, recycled brass, and copper. While the stainless steel is resistant to tarnishing, the other metals may require occasional polishing to maintain their shine, as they have not been sealed against tarnish.
